Brain Nukes
Think of the second world war, think of a speech given by Adolf Hitler and think of his propaganda machine, the posters, the uniforms, the music, the whole apparatus of communication that showed you what the Wehrmacht was all about and why it was rad and worth engaging with.
Now think of the airplanes they fought during the blitz: Hurricanes and Spitfires with their Rolls Royce Merlin engines. Excellent planes, they killed nazis, afterall.
Now, imagine the profound gulf between the Spitfire and the munitions they carried and something like a predator drone. Think about how much more sophisticated that machine is, how much more capable. Consider the unfathomable chain of procedure and engineering and infrastructure require to produce such a thing, all of the people buying in to something they do not fully understand in totality.
Some people think that the apparatus of information and manipulation has not evolved much since the days of the Reich, if anything they think it might have calmed down, gotten less obvious and obstreperous. Less obvious indeed.
The phones in our pockets and the tv we watch, the news and the wars and the debates are all nuclear weapons of the mind. They are so far advanced from what convinced people to commit the actual holocaust that it is unimaginable. And being unnoticeable is part of the success of their design. unnoticeable to some people at least.
Phones are evil.
Don’t watch the news.
Move to the woods.
Eat a lot of peaches.
Find Jesus.
