I’ve got a phone now, used to be I only had an Ipad and this computer. The last straw was when I had to contact my doctor, and I couldn’t. They almost never answer the phone, and I actually cannot answer my google voice number anymore, some Indian man intercepts all of my calls. If it wasn’t so strange it’d be threatening. Maybe it’s both.
Anyways, now that I have a normal phone and not a comically oversized one, I looked at my blog the way I imagine most people do, real tiny and narrow. Too narrow. So I removed the shoulders and I’m keeping things in one column. Hopefully that helps.
I believe we did better with visitors than we thought we would. We expected to have none for a week or two until they ascended our hill in plainfield like feudal lords to bend the knee. Long Live The Queen. Instead we had people straight away, the house is now empty save for us five (including scout and archie) for the first time in ten days.
It was a treasure having all the help and all the fealty and all the love flow into the house. People really did bend the knee, and bring bagels and lasagna and telephones and themselves. I was glad to have them, and now I’m glad not to. I regret neither gladnesses.
