To Do.
I feel like stuff is real outta control.
Things are just busy, and I don’t have enough time. This is an issue of management, not of time. I need to get disciplined, I need a system. Jack has recommended just such a system. It is outlined nicely in a book, I have read this book, I have solicited advice on how to enact it from Jack, who has also read it. Abby is planning on listening to it, she doesn’t have the time to read it.
The outline of the plan is to make a list and to do it, and not to add to it. To figure out exactly how much you can do in a day and to work around that reality. To add to it and to gain self-knowledge. Seems like it’s worth a shot, because this? It can’t stick around. No way no how, we’ve got to get it To Gether.
Hopefully this is the way. Apart from half-hearted chore chart attempts while living with a buncha grungy roommates, this is likely the most concerted effort at actual control over my schedule and doings as I’ve ever done.
Tomorrow’s the first day.
Jack says to keep it light. Do the things you’ve gotta do like feeding the dog and feeding yourself and feeding the chickens and feeding the blog-readers. So, I’ll do all that. I’ll also clean for twenty minutes and pray and do my day job and I think that’s it. The important thing is to just get every single thing on the list done, every last one, check it all off. real specific.
