February & March
March has hope, a light at the end of the tunnel. And damnit, that’s a fine, fine thing.
It’s feeling an awful lot like February today, and Plainfield is feeling an awful lot like Plainfield. Our housemate Hanna moved out and that means we’ll have to begin actually putting in work to cultivate a social life.
Up until now we’ve had people in our house, and that has fulfilled the better part of our social needs. Now we’re alone in the house and we don’t live within walking distance of anybody. Maybe once our neighbor’s kid is a bit older that’ll be a bit more of a thing, but right now she can’t walk, and neither can Robinia.
There’s the library and the café, and we do have a few friends. We’ll just have to be more concerted in our efforts to spend time with people other than ourselves.
Luckily, Jack and Elena moved back today, too.
