Tables &c.
It took me about an hour to design the base, it’s not altogether that nice, but it’s simple and I can make it without much fuss and I think that’s important when you’ve got about 5,000 things to do, as I do.
I also just read a bit of Winnie The Pooh 10 seconds before writing this and I think it might be impacting the flavor. I don’t particularly care for Winnie The Pooh, the writing feels stiff but simultaneously makes no sense at all. The opposite of this is Frog & Toad which makes perfect sense and has the ease of a summer afternoon with no chores.
But as bland as Winnie The Pooh is, I’d keep reading it for a year straight if it meant sitting bed and reading it to Roby. I was starting to write this blog when I heard her fussing the room over and Abby trying to tend to her by reading. Not an opportunity to pass up. So I abandoned this and went to read Winnie The Pooh, it could have been the dictionary or a receipt and I’d’ve been happy to recite it in funny voices.
This is an attitude and an interest I pray persists.
