Google said it was going to rain today, and it hardly did at all. I didn’t exactly adapt my plans to rain, but I set my mind to a rainy day, and that was a mistake. I still went on two walks through the woods and collected a bit of quartz, but I did less than I might’ve, I think.
In a world where most of my work is on the computer, and most of what isn’t is done in the shop, which has a roof, rain isn’t really an excuse.
Rain is a mindset.

That’s some self help bullshit if I’ve ever heard it. Mindsets are real, but talking about them is kind of a crock.
Either way, I think I might stop checking in on what google has to say about the weather. I hardly ever change my plans based on what I learn. If It’s cold I bring a coat, if it’s raining...I bring a coat. If google said it was cold but I was sweating, I’d take off a layer. Most of what google does, most of what the internet does, is make us ignore the world.
