More’an’ye.

When there’s a bit of drama on the rise it’s easy to think only thereof, and the people engaged with it. But the reality of it is that there are far more people in the world, and in the community than just the folks in the tangle. From where I was sitting I could see two people talking about the drama, but where I was sitting was next to a friend who cared about it not at all. He had bought me a book as a gift, it’s about silence and solitude, it’s by a monk. Apparently he’s a bit of a difficult monk for some people, but I think I could probably learn an awful lot from him.
I just wish I had more time to read, instead I’m writing the blog and the novel and drawing and spending as much time with Roby as I can.
One day I’ll have time to read, and that’ll be nice. But not for a while. So the books on solitude can wait.
