Spring brings energy to the plants, and to the people too. I spent a lot of time around town this morning and afternoon and it felt like everybody was out. There was a line six deep at the dump, and the lady in the booth lamented the departure of her most handsome customer. Gone but not forgotten.
Later, there were two of us holding up our ragged old lawnmower blades for comparison in the aisles of Tractor Supply. We looked helplessly at one another until Mike came to the rescue.
Thanks Mike.
At the hardware store there were pulled pork sandwiches and more hapless homeowners looking at plants and pipe wrenches.
Everybody was waiting in line, but I don’t think I heard a single complaint. It’s just nice to be doing things.
