Looking At The Shed
Even when things are shit, or maybe especially when they are, you should probably take the time to appreciate where you’ve arrived. It’s not so long ago that we ached and dreamed of being able to drink our coffee as we walked around a green place we owned. Now we do it every day, but we’re dungeoned by the things we don’t have yet: like a truck, or air conditioning.
Comparison is the thief of joy, and I do it to an imagined version of myself more than I do with almost anybody else. Now, that might be because I don’t really see many people, but it’s still true.
Today we walked around the field and found wild strawberries smaller than peas, and we watched Roby eat them.
