I only got to it after a sleepy morning of waffles eaten with a distracted friend. Despite that slow start I got loads done, and so did Abby.
It’s important to remember days like today because too often I’ll see a sleepy morning or a lazy half-day and decide the whole days kaput, a loss. I’ll decide that I shouldn’t even make the attempt, just oughta stay inside and get soft work done: shit on the computer.
Because I didn’t fall for that trap, I finished the bracing and moved about a ton of scrap wood out from clogging the barn. We’ve got two covered parking spots now when before we had none. I’ll be thanking the me of today come snow.
