TWENTY SIX

He suggested that to judge a person was to do the devil’s work for him. That in Orthodoxy we ought to, whenever we feel inclined to judge, turn that finger back at ourselves. There is almost always something within us that we are projecting outwards, something to repent from. I don’t say for, because it is not a debt or a punishment, but a turning away. But this blog is not to educate because I am too stupid to educate about theology or apologetics or anything at all like that.
In anycase,
I find it very interesting indeed that in a past life the notion of doing the devil’s work, as well as pointing the finger back at oneself would both have seemed utterly ridiculous, each for a very different reason. Now they seem ridiculous for entirely different reasons.
A break from writing here has been good, I think.
I was uncomfortable writing this way, about these subjects even two months ago. How strange is that? How quick it can change. As scary as it is exciting. Either way I’ll try to be a bit more interesting.
