Church Drive
Finally, a car post.
Written on the way to church, it is perhaps my favorite way to write the blog. At this point in my life it’s a choice between distractions. At home at night it’s between movies and Sindome and that game I play on my phone. In the car it’s between talking to Abby, comforting Roby, and listening to (and singing) the Frozen soundtrack, or Raffi songs. On a thirty minute or so ride, I can spare a few minutes to throw down the blog, then I’ll be pleasantly surprised this evening when I don’t gotta do it.
We were meant to pick someone up on the way to church this morning, but when I called them, they were still sleepy and didn’t want to come. That means Jacob had already left and the car was just me and the girls. I’m happy with that and I’m happy driving a church friend. I wish our car was larger, so I could accommodate more church friends, and that’ll probably happen eventually.
Before too long I’m going to need a van to accommodate all the kids.
I hope it’s a cool van
With a lift kit and an awesome vinyl sticker of a kids drawing.
