Abolish Daycare

Odd thing for someone starting a daycare to say, huh?

I’ll say it again: abolish daycare.

Our cultural commitment to daycare is a profane symptom of the near perfection of the science of advertising. That we all believe there is anything higher than spending time with our children, RIGHT NOW, even the future material comfort of our children, is propaganda-bred insanity.

We cannot guarantee future security, and never before in my lifetime has that been more true than right now.

I also direct you to Luke 12:13-21.

Our society has broken our hearts.

Daycare is not an ancient tradition, it is not a scientific achievement, it was not a discovery. It is a profane invention of the ruling class to double the number of workers.

That this is done with the glow of phone screens and not the sting of billy clubs is a testament to just how perfect our marketing science has truly become.

Imagine staying in a prison cell because Mister Beast has promised your children a college fund.

Is your time in that cell more or less coercive for the lack of a closed door?

It’s the “Good Dad” “Bad Dad” thought of Slavoj all over again.

Our children are gifts.

A responsibility given to us by God to shape and watch over.

And we out source it for what? The sake of efficiency? Half-baked notions of socialization and “childhood development”?

It’s too easy to get our heads wrapped up in the engine that is “perfection.”

In a perfect world day care wouldn’t exist… is that as obvious to everybody else as it is to me?

Probably not, no.
