Busy Day

What a busy day.

Woke up at a reasonable time, had breakfast, immediately had a meeting. It went short, so I had more time to catch up with work before heading into town. On the way in I did some work, texted a few friends who needed texting, emailed about Men’s group, and a few other things. Then I ran around the Burton building before getting back in the car where I did more work, and now I’m writing this. I haven’t stopped all day.

I felt pretty grateful today for the work, for what we get to do all day, it’s pretty special and strange. I think part of that is the trip I just took, and the project we’re working on with Burton. But part of it is also just how precarious things are, they’re very precarious. It might only be possible to appreciate something when there’s a real possibility of losing it, maybe that’s why dying is good.

I don’t know, I hope it doesn’t end. If it does, life goes on.

But things can also get worse, that is definitely true.

I’ll try not to worry about it.

I think God loves me more than birds.
