Highschool
I don’t go into town much anymore. When I do it feels pretty rushed. Bim bam boop, this this this, that that this, in and out after I’ve done what it is I came in to do. Today I had twenty minutes to get coffee with my closest highschool professor and mentor. We talked about kids and life and purpose and ultimately I shared that I had converted to Orthodox, much to his surprise, chiefly because he too was joining the church in the spring, on Pascha.
That was at once very surprising, and not surprising at all.
I’m looking forward to talking with him about it more, he’s got a good beard now.
