Portraiture

I’ve been taking more pictures of Roby lately, she’s so much more dynamic than she was last summer, so much faster, so much more wild. I took some good ones over the past few days, some really good ones, I think. I think I can say that without ego. They’re good, and the subject’s good.
I’ve got this school on the brain, think about it a lot, even if my work on it is more limited than I might like, or it might have to be. One part of the puzzle that is this project is photography. There are apps apparently, that daycares use to send parents countless photos and videos of their kids each day. I hate that. One, it means the caretakers are on their phones an awful lot. Two, they’re crappy little phone shots that don’t care for nothing and are throw away.
I’ve got some skills as a photographer I think, and providing beautiful images and beautiful prints for parents of what their beautiful kids do in a beautiful place all day? I think that’d be worth something to someone. It would be worth something to me, just making the images.
