I didn’t do much work after the girls went to bed, but I do think it was effective. Mostly I watched The Revenant and spoke with a few friends about a project I’m working on. They were able to offer some pretty incredible insight that I think has considerably advanced my understanding of what this thing can be, so that was worth more than an hour and a half of building a preliminary deck, at least in my opinion.

I wrote that this morning and this evening I’ve just gotten back from driving to town to talk about that very project and very little of the insight gained last night will be of much use, I don’t think. But that’s fine, it was a good night, the revenant was good, the conversation was good, with my friend last night and with my friends tonight. 

My one friend said he hadn’t seen me off of my property anywhere in two years apart from maybe one walk a while back. That sounds about right, I don’t go out much, and I like it that way. People can visit any time. 

I went to town to talk with friends and eat some food and I also had to double it up by visiting a store front I’m going to help design, that’s fun. It’s paying, I like that, I need that. 

Hopefully one of these things catches, 
I’m feeling actively alive in any case.
