Texting

These days I tend to be on my computer or off of it. I’m either using it for work or my immeasurably niche hobby(ies), or I’m decidedly off of it in order to spend time with Roby in a way that is not colored by the many distractions of my glowy things. That makes it hard to text people, it makes me bad at texting people. There’s a certain idleness required to text well, to remember to text well.

Maybe that’s an excuse, probably it is. But when I imagine a future properly computered, it has hardly any texting at all. It hardly has any computers at all.

What is my ideal computer future...? Is it no computers at all? I spend all my free time in notebooks or reading? With paper and not the kind that glows even a little bit?

Yeah, I guess it’s pretty much like that. I’d still like to watch some movies because I love movies but I think the main bit would be the paper. I could and should start those amputations now, but I’m weak and stupid and I don’t know what’s good for me.

Yours &c.          Bozo
